The renovation of the Meditation Garden at Asbury South United Methodist Church has created a lot of interest from the surrounding community.  We have had input from a landscape designer and Bill Kline has been overseeing the renovation.  Many people have made donations of equipment and money to purchase special plants to honor someone or in memory of a loved one.

     The covered bridge is being restored by one of our scouts working on his Eagle Project. There will be a new sign welcoming everyone to the Garden.  People have been coming to the Meditation Garden to sit on the benches to pray and enjoy the new plantings, as well as have lunch at one of the picnic tables.  It would be a great place for a photo shoot of a wedding, prom, or any special event. The church will be planning some outdoor events for later this summer and fall in the Garden. 

     If you are interested in volunteering in this new ministry, please contact Bill Kline at 614-370-8574 or AsburyGardenRocks@gmail.com. .  We need people to help coordinate volunteers for planting, maintenance of the Garden, and recruiting of volunteers.  You do not need to be a member of Asbury as this is a community ministry.
